He grew up in the country and holds a doctorate related to Namibia and the people of the country. Ben obtained his first Fidelity Fund Certificate from the Estate Agents Board in March 1993, and practiced in Walvis Bay for 31⁄2 years as Principal Estate Agent, before he and his wife, Barbara, left for South Africa. In South Africa, Ben practiced both as a Principal Agent and as Estate Agent for 21 years continuously, and therefore has extensive experience in his fields of specializing.
